OIE reported highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus H5N8 in two hobby poultry holdings in Klišiai. Turkeys, geese, broilers and one-day chickens were found dead and tested positive for H5N8. The outbreak is suspected to have originated from contact with wild species.
