WOAH reported rabies virus in a dog in Pulau Timor. This is a first occurrence of the disease in Timor Island. Animal rabies was detected for the first time after following up report on human rabies. Rabies was detected in Nusa Tenggara Timur province previously but the disease was limited to Flores Island, one of the three main islands in the province.

WOAH reported equine infectious anaemia in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, identified in a privately owned hobby horse with no clinical symptoms. 

WOAH reported African swine fever (ASF) in wild boar in Vostok.
